Sam’s career in the legal industry began in 2012. Prior to joining CenterPeak, he worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he gained valuable experience working alongside colleagues in complex commercial litigation, civil litigation, trial and private equity matters. With deep knowledge of BigLaw culture, Sam understands the demands of success in the ever-evolving landscape of global law firms.
Sam collaborates closely with the company’s upper management throughout the entire partner placement process, primarily in the California, Chicago and New York markets. He has been instrumental in securing successful placements in many of CenterPeak’s most significant deals, covering a wide range of corporate and litigation practice areas. Sam's ability to identify accomplished candidates and working relationships with AmLaw top 100 recruiting managers and senior firm officials make him a valuable asset to firms seeking top talent. He devotes significant time to engaging with candidates to thoroughly understand their career objectives and providing comprehensive guidance, from initial contact to successful placement. His amiable personality fosters trust and confidence among candidates, helping to close deals effectively.
Sam earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he enjoys exploring the city's vibrant food scene. Sam is also passionate about travel, sports, film, television, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
