Josh Dull has built a notably successful domestic and global recruiting practice with a strong track record of placing high value partners and groups at the world’s leading law firms.  Josh is currently partnering with senior leadership from a handful of elite law firms to help execute high priority and strategic directed searches.

Josh has made significant market-leading partner placements in New York, Boston, Miami, Charlotte, Atlanta, Sao Paulo and Mexico City, among others, and has worked on searches in London, Madrid and Milan.  Josh also has experience placing both in-house and government lawyers into leading law firms.  In addition to facilitating countless individual lateral partner moves, Josh has worked closely with senior leadership at several AMLAW 100 law firms to help drive and execute new market-entry strategies.  These efforts have resulted in more than a dozen office openings around the globe.  

Prior to joining the firm, Josh was a partner and top producer at Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), where he helped establish the Miami office in 2008.  Josh led the Miami and Southeast recruiting teams and founded and led MLA’s Latin America practice.  

Josh earned his B.A. from the University of Iowa where he was also a four-year letterman and starter at the Tight End position for the Iowa Hawkeye football team competing in the Big Ten Conference.  He then played professionally in Europe before enrolling in law school at the University of Denver Sturm School of Law where he earned his J.D. in 2004.  While in law school, Josh was chosen to participate in an international law program focused on cross-border finance in conjunction with City University of Hong Kong.  Josh gained experience working for law firms in Denver and Italy before transitioning into the recruiting field.

In his spare time, Josh enjoys traveling the world and spending time with family and friends.  He is also passionate about art, music, history, food and wine, and, is an avid fisherman.
