Avery is a leading partner recruiter in the US with 25 years of experience, specializing in high-profile partner and practice group placements and major law firm mergers. He has built strong relationships with senior leadership at many top firms and is a key figure in strategic growth initiatives, driving significant revenue for his clients.

Before joining CenterPeak in March 2023, Avery was instrumental in expanding a top partner recruiting firm, including opening offices in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, and Washington, DC. He also served as COO, overseeing the firm's operations and growth.

Avery began his career as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division, through the Attorney General’s Honors Program.
He currently resides in Los Angeles and Washington, DC, and focuses on California, Washington, DC, New York, and other major legal markets.
